Description: A four-hour workshop to provide participants an introduction to writing a grant proposal for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), specifically related to the radiologic sciences. Topics include: elements of a good grant proposal; understanding the review process at NIH; planning the proposal; details of the peer-review system; and the process of the study section in the review of grant applications.
Target Audience: Junior faculty in academic centers, or other radiologists, who wish to pursue a career in radiologic research.
